Product Care and Benefits

Product Care and Maintenance:

At Brooklyn Shea, we take great pride in using 100% all-natural, organic ingredients in our shea butter products. As our shea butter does not contain preservatives, it is essential to handle and store your product with care to maintain its quality.

To ensure the longevity of your shea butter, we recommend storing it in a dry area, free from moisture. Avoid exposing the container to water or introducing any moisture into the product. This will help preserve its texture and prevent any potential spoilage.

Please note that our shea butter products consist of various natural butters and oils, which may undergo certain changes due to temperature variations. You may observe a color change, hardening, separation, or melting of the product. These changes are natural and do not alter the effectiveness or benefits of your shea butter.

In the event that your shea butter melts, we provide a mixing spatula with your product. Simply use the spatula to mix the melted shea butter thoroughly, ensuring an even consistency. If needed, you can place the mixture in the refrigerator for a maximum of 5 minutes to restore its solid state. Remember, the melting and re-solidifying process does not affect the potency or benefits of the shea butter.

Shea Butter Benefits:

Shea butter is a true skin and hair superfood, cherished in Africa for its exceptional properties in maintaining skin and hair health. It offers a range of benefits that make it a valuable addition to your daily skincare routine.

As a moisturizer, shea butter deeply hydrates the skin, providing essential nourishment and restoring moisture balance. It also offers a natural SPF protection of 3 or 4, helping to shield the skin from the harmful effects of the sun.

Furthermore, shea butter possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties, assisting in cell regeneration and providing relief for skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. It contains vitamins A, E, and F, which act as powerful antioxidants, promoting healthy skin cell growth and improving circulation.

These are just a few of the numerous benefits that shea butter offers. Embrace the richness of shea butter and experience its transformative effects on your skin and hair.
